Someone in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me." Jesus replied, "Man, who appointed me a judge over you?" Then he said to them, "Watch out! (小心) Be on your guard (提防) against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance (豐富) of possessions (財產)."
And he told them this parable: "The land of a rich man produced (生產) a lot of food. He thought to himself, 'What should I do? I have no place to put my crops (農作物).' Then he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down (拆毀) my barns and build bigger ones! ... And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many good things for many years. Relax, eat, drink, and be merry (歡樂)!'
But God said to him, 'You fool (糊塗人)! This very night your life will be taken from you. Then who will get all the things you prepared?'
This is how it is for anyone who saves treasure for himself but is not rich toward God."
人群中有一個人向耶穌說：「師傅，請吩咐我的兄弟與我分家產罷！」耶穌對他說：「人哪，誰立了我作你們的判官及分家人呢？」遂對他們說：「你們要謹慎，躲避一切貪婪，因為一個人縱然富裕，他的生命並不在於他的資產。」
耶穌對他們設了一個比喻說：「有一個富翁，他的田地出產豐富。他心裏思量說：我可怎麼辦呢？因為我已經沒有地方收藏我的物產。他遂說：我要這樣做：我要拆毀我的倉房，另建擴大的... 然後，我要對我的靈魂說：靈魂哪！你存有大量的財物，足夠多年之用，你休息罷！吃喝宴樂罷！天主卻對他說：糊塗人哪！今夜就要索回你的靈魂，你所備置的，將歸誰呢？那為自己厚積財物而不在天主前致富的，也是如此。」
🧵 The Real Problem: Me, Me, Me! (真正的問題)
The Barns (倉庫): In Jesus' time, people usually kept (保存) food in small spaces inside their houses. Building large, special barns meant you were incredibly (極度地) rich.
Rich toward God (在天主前致富): How do you put money in Heaven's bank? You do it by loving and helping people on Earth!
1. He forgot God: He thought he did everything by himself. He didn't say "Thank God."
2. He forgot others: He didn't think about sharing his extra (多餘的) food with poor (貧窮的) people. This is called greed. 看看經文，他滿口都是「我」和「我的」。他忘了兩件重要的事：第一，他忘了天主，以為一切都是靠自己；第二，他忘了別人，完全沒想到把多餘的食物分給窮人。這就叫做「貪婪」。
❤️ What Does the Church Say? (教會的提醒)
"I have never seen a moving van (搬家貨車) behind a funeral procession (送葬隊伍). We cannot take our wealth (財富) with us.
What we can take is the love we have given, the works of mercy (慈悲) we have done!"
「我從來沒有看過搬家公司的車跟在靈車後面。我們無法將財富帶走。
能帶走的，只有我們付出過的愛，以及我們做過的慈悲善工！」

Find one good thing and give it to a charity (慈善機構) or someone who needs it!
找出一樣好東西，把它捐給慈善機構或需要的人吧！

It is not wrong to save money or buy nice things. But remember, money is a tool, not a god. Do not let your heart become a "closed barn".
存錢或買好東西並沒有錯，但請記住，金錢只是工具，不是神明。不要讓你的心變成一座「封閉的穀倉」。
